Music: Count Us In (MCUI) is Australia’s biggest school initiative. On Thursday 1 November, 700,000 students, and 10,000 teachers from 3,500 schools will participate across the nation. Music: Count Us In brings teachers, parents, students and the broader music community together in celebration of music and to champion music education. Music: Count Us In exists to advocate for improved access to music education for all students across Australia.

Join us here on Celebration Day (Thursday 1 November 2018) as all registered schools unite via this live stream to celebrate music and perform 'One Song' – half a million kids all singing the same song, on the same day, at the same time.

This stream will showcase our main event LIVE from the Bellerive Boardwalk, Hobart. It will include video packages, speeches and live music and will end with the singing of 'One Song'. Local times for the live stream are below. Before the live stream begins you can also tune in to watch the Sydney Symphony Orchestra's Schools Concert. This fantastic concert will begin at 10:30am (EDT) and will conclude with a special orchestral performance of 'One Song' at 11:15am (EDT). You and your students can use this as a rehearsal before the MCUI performance at 12:30pm (EDT). Please refer to the table below to see what time the SSO performance will be broadcast in your state.

Music: Count Us In is the education program of Music Australia, supported by the Australian Government and funded through the Department of Education and Training.

After the event ends, you can stay up to date with Music: Count Us In by following us on Facebook and Instagram!
